Phuket MMA standout Andrew Leone Grand Prix opponent confirmed!

Phuket Top Team standout Andrew Leone may be a flyweight by nature, but as a bantamweight by design he entered the ROAD FC Grand Prix and performed admirably.

Now, his opponent in the semi-final (who he must beat to advance to the tournament final later that same night) has been confirmed; South Korea’s Min Ju Kim. This means that the anticipated rematch with Kang will have to wait until the tournament final, provided both men progress past their semi-final opponents.

Leone began training MMA in Phuket last year, leaving the new hotbed of Asian MMA, Singapore, in order to join Phuket Top Team. He will be preparing for his ROAD FC tournament appearance by training with/under 3rd degree black belt Olavo Abreu, black belt and undefeated ONE FC fighter Rodrigo Praxedes, and a host of brown and blue belts at Phuket Top Team, where he trains BJJ in Phuket.

World class boxing, Muay Thai and wrestling is also available at Phuket Top Team along with truly class BJJ instruction.
